Talk/Webinar
The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed public health and active travel high up the policy agenda and this is an important opportunity to explore ways to embed active travel as an integral part of the health promotion agenda. This online event will focus on the topic of active travel (walking, cycling, and other active modes) and health in Sheffield.
The event will include contributions from the Sheffield City Region Active Travel Commissioner, Dame Sarah Storey, and researchers from both the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR), and the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC) at Sheffield Hallam University. Following short presentations that will explore current and emerging research along with insights about how this agenda is being pursued in Sheffield, there will be an opportunity to contribute through a Q&A session with the panellists.
