Researchers will present the headline findings from a survey that asked new and expectant parents about their experiences in the early days of lockdown in the UK. Topics will include:
- Support and care in labour and birth
- Partners’ and couple's experiences
- Case studies from individual NHS Trusts
- LGBTQ+ experiences
- Considering freebirth
Then researchers from across the UK will talk about some of the different projects that have collected information about parents' experiences of pregnancy, birth, and having a newborn baby during lockdown.
This seminar is aimed at parents, midwives, obstetricians, doulas and anyone else with an interest in birth. It is free to attend (a ticket is required as spaces are limited).
