Talk/Webinar
Researchers from Durham University share their experiences of coming together to combat the challenges brought by COVID-19. With examples from social science and science through health to culture, this session provides a brief insight into some of the ways in which the university community is working to improve our response to the pandemic. Some of the questions raised will include: What is the role of R&D/universities in response to emergencies such as the pandemic? What did we learn from the pandemic and how might this impact university responses to future scenarios? The panel will be made up of Durham University academics and professional support staff who have responded to the pandemic in ways which we hope will make a difference. both in the short and longer term.
