10th November 2020 2.00pm
Talk/Webinar
This webinar aims to discuss the academic evidence and arguments for and against radical policy changes that might solve problems arising from the COVID-19 crisis in three areas of policy: housing, transport and welfare. With a suite of academics alongside representatives from other civil society sectors, we aim to discuss the merits of what some say are ‘radical’ policy proposals grounded in evidence from social scientists. The seminar will be of interest to academics, advocacy organisations and think tanks, and the general public – as it will engage with issues relevant to the material circumstances of people today.
