14th November 2020 19:00 - 21:30
Talk/Webinar, Panel debate
This is a collaboration between criminologists at Lancaster Law School and Underworld TV, the makers of Channel 4 TV programme "what makes a murderer". In this online event, three speakers with criminal histories will explore the events, influences, and opportunities which contributed to them becoming a criminal. In pre-recorded in-depth interviews with criminologists, they will also identify the key influences that changed the direction of their lives away from criminal behaviour. These pre-recorded interviews will be followed up with a live discussion online, with viewers from all walks of life invited to ask the participants questions about their lives and what made them a criminal.
