Talk/Webinar
As individuals and as a nation we have become dependent on a vast and expanding digital infrastructure which has, in turn, made us vulnerable to cyber-criminals and foreign adversaries who target that infrastructure. The danger cannot be overstated, and enhancing cyber-security is a national imperative and one that is shared by the private sector whose networks, data systems and products are at risk, as well as the government agencies charged with securing our critical national infrastructure and guarding our citizens against criminal activity. This webinar discusses the intersection of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and citizens privacy and anonymity, and will provide an understanding of cryptography and invoke a sentiment to honour the need for privacy-respecting tools which enable the free flow of human behaviour.
